Nancy wanted to show me an issue she had with the WRDC web page showing advertisements. After a bit of time trying to reproduce, we discovered that the problem was most like the external website for the WRDC titled The Warner River Nomination [https://warnerrivernomination.wordpress.com/] which has ads. I’ve sent their contact an email asking about those ads.
Nancy wanted to know best practices for backups. I discussed various means of doing backups including manual and automated. I recommended she get a 128GB flash drive for periodic local backups. For day-to-day backups, I recommended Carbonite which she agreed to. I purchased and downloaded a copy of Carbonite for her.
