Town Clerk desktop network issues

Judy called to report that her desktop PC had no network connection. This PC uses WiFi. I came to town to investigate. The PC showed no available WiFi networks and yet I was able to see many networks with my mobile phone analysis software. Of the various things I did, the last thing I did was to disable the WiFi adapter and turn it back on again. This solved the problem. No idea why this happened. I’ve never seen this before on any PC. While I was there, I updated the Lenovo diagnostic software, Adobe Air, Firefox, and Thunderbird.

While working on Judy’s PC I noticed that it has the same poor display quality that the Landuse PC had. The remedy for Landuse was to purchase a DisplayPort/VGA adapter. I’m ordering the same adapter ($35) for Judy’s PC and will install it at no charge when it arrives.
