The PCs at the PD were not showing as connected to Kaspersky Antivirus so I scheduled a visit.
#00016 – Upon arrival I was directed to the front desk PC which was having issues with Firefox being unable to load the user profile. Kaspersky was not active. I attempted to download and install the latest version of Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) but this hung. After waiting a long time, I tried to cancel the install. This also hung. I ended up having to “nerve pinch” the OS to force a power off and then reboot. After rebooting, I installed the latest KIS. I updated Firefox and LibreOffice.
